Zbëk Wës Hadfow (/ke/ /wɛs/ [gray] [respect]) is a subtropical Large City located in Huzezaji Zone, Jaz̄omaka District, within the Alveria.

The name Zbëk Wës Hadfow is derived from the Goblin language, as Zbëk Wës Hadfow was founded by Fyëmë, who was culturaly Wood Elf.

Climate

Zbëk Wës Hadfow has a yearly average temperature of 18°C (64°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 10°C (50°F). Zbëk Wës Hadfow receives an average of 75 cm/y (29 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Zbëk Wës Hadfow covers an area of nearly 63 km2 (25 mi2), and an average elevation of 4612 m (15131 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Zbëk Wës Hadfow was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1189, by Fyëmë. The establishment of Zbëk Wës Hadfow was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Zbëk Wës Hadfow's construction back out of the project. Fyëmë pushed on reguardles, and Zbëk Wës Hadfow was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Zbëk Wës Hadfow was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Zbëk Wës Hadfow is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Zbëk Wës Hadfow is buildings are arranged arround a single crampt packed earth mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city has a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, battlments, and even a moat, which are fashioned from stone and timber. Zbëk Wës Hadfow's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. The city's unusual though effective defenses are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the city's defences.

Zbëk Wës Hadfow is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the city like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife.

Civic Infrastructure

Zbëk Wës Hadfow has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cultural Notes

Zbëk Wës Hadfow's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

In Zbëk Wës Hadfow there are unidentifiable people in the fog, but it seems to be okay.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century heavy spring rains following an uncharacteristically dry year and a minor earthquake resulted in the collapse of the south west face of Mount Cayambe. the landslide struck Zbëk Wës Hadfow, and devastated the community. 241 people, 282 livestock, and 31 buildings were lost to the calamity. The disaster is recorded in history as Grief's Fall.
